		<description>OK - So I really like this post because it gives a great breakdown of how these media have had a tranformative impact.  Marshall McLuhan published "Understanding Media" and made this point 40 years ago... "The medium is the message" basically states that it is not the content but the medium that changes society/culture and politics.</description>
